Meet Dillon Martinez

 

Currently an instructor at Winona State University where he is the director of the adapted physical education teacher preparation program. He created and teaches “techniques of speed coaching” to students in the coaching minor program as well. He is currently pursuing his doctorate degree with an emphasis on speed coaching and development. Dillon has been coaching speed for over 7 years and has worked with every age and skill level to help them get faster! Dillon was an All State athletes in Football and Track before going on to Play Football at the University of Minnesota Duluth were he was a starter at corner as a true freshman. 

His proudest coaching accomplishments include: 

- 100 M Dash State Champion (Fastest time in the State)

- 200 M Dash State Champion

- State Qualifiers and medalists in the 100, 200, 4x100, and High Jump.

- Preparing NCAA athletes for their pro day.

- Creating and Implementing speed development programming to groups of over 100+ youth athletes at a time. 

 

 

 

 

Meet Dr. Ray Martinez

 

Dr. Ray Martinez, Ed.D, CSCS, USAW has over 30 seasons of coaching experience using his background as a professor who uses sport science to enhance athlete performance. As a result, he has helped athletes and teams get fast on the track, court, and field of play. Athletes he has worked with have medaled and become state champions in track, national champions in college football, and conference champions in high school football. He has used sport science to challenge all athletes in their training to become stronger, more efficient, more explosive, and faster. Meet Eddie Hodges

 

Eddie is a small town guy with big time experiences, from training NFL athletes to teaching youth athletes how to lift and sprint properly. He is excited to share his knowledge he acquired from those experiences from the past 13 years. Now he is the Owner/Director of Human Performance at Three Rivers Performance in La Crosse, WI where he and his team train athletes and adults to help them reach their full human potential.  Here is a brief snapshot of some of his achievements:

  • Three Rivers Performance: Owner / Director of Human Performance.
  • Caledonia High School: Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at for 6 years and Assistant Track & Field Coach for 3 years. Football won state in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. Still currently consulting and working with program. Low injury rate since 2007.
  • Aquinas High School: Head Sports Performance Coach since 2020. Football has won back to back state championships in 2021 and 2022. Helped many other sports make it to the state tournament and has grown the weight room into a packed house. Lowest injury rate ever recorded at the school.
  • Winona State University: Head Sports Performance Coach for Football since Summer 2022. As first year we won the South Conference Title and made playoffs. Previously worked here from 2013-2017 has an intern and graduate assistant in strength and conditioning working with volleyball, soccer, gymnastics and assisted with football.
  • San Francisco 49ers: On staff as a Human Performance Coach during their 2016 Season. 
  • Performance Enhancement Professionals: Trained NFL athletes at a private performance facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. Few of many athletes Eddie has trained: James Harrison, Brock Osweiler, Lamarr Houston, Kyle Fuller, Robert Golden, Datone Jones, Dontari Poe, and many others.
  • He has been apart of over 30 Championships across all sports, divisions, and levels (12 of them Football).
